Tail-lift deliveries to our trade customers are handled safely with clear POD notes.
Tail-lift and special handling
Not every receiver has a forklift or loading dock. Tail-lift handling allows palletised or bulky freight to be lowered safely at the kerb or a designated unload point when the site allows vehicle access and safe ground conditions.
At booking, confirm tail-lift requirement, approximate weight and dimensions, ground surface, clearance height, and whether staff will assist at delivery. Some councils, shopping centres, and industrial estates restrict heavy vehicles or tail-lift use at certain times—e confirm feasibility before dispatch.
Phone 02 7908 2494 or support@feldanfreight.com.au to plan handling for regular lanes.
Site suitability
Tail-lift delivery requires level ground, adequate overhead clearance, and safe pedestrian separation. Steep driveways, gravel without load-bearing capacity, or congested footpaths may require alternative unload plans agreed before collection.
Beyond tail-lift
We also support two-person unload, orientation-sensitive freight, and delivery notes for security or induction. Clear instructions help drivers complete delivery efficiently and capture accurate proof of delivery.
Booking checklist
State pallet count, weight, tail-lift flag, receiver hours, and any time restrictions. Pair with metro freight or regional runs as appropriate for your lane.
